Welcome to Steady North. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Steady North website and application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Steady North helps you view and organize your personal finances — including balances, bills, subscriptions, and a "safe to spend" estimate — by connecting to your financial accounts through our provider, Plaid. Some figures and recommendations are estimates based on the data available to us.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use.
When you link an account, you authorize us and Plaid to access information from that account on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disconnect any account at any time. You represent that you are authorized to provide the account credentials you use.
The Service, including its name, logo, design, and content, belongs to Steady North and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not guarantee that estimates, balances, or recommendations will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steady North will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any financial losses, arising from your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you and update the date above. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
